Womadz Be the First!
To prove the power of crowdsourcing video content and the Womadz platform, we recently launched the "Be The First" contest. We gave the Womadz creative community a nearly blank canvas and they proved their creativity and their ability to drive engagement to a broad based voting public.
Beyond demonstrating original storytelling skills, Womadz filmmakers also showed they could uncover and communicate raw consumer insights that often fall through the cracks of more traditional creative processes.
Out of more than 75 entries, our community selected a fun and crisp 1st place video: ID Lockdown. Our users also discovered an amazing young talent who was behind the 2nd place video, Clarity Glasses. Seventeen year-old Daniel Wainryb captured the authentic energy of youth the way only a seventeen-year-old can.
